do you have any formal trainning or good ol' in house training? umm depends idealy on the company, freelance now a days wond be as good unless you you are freaking amazing even then its hard, and would have to have the right kind of contacts, usually its good idea to start with small print shops, doign letter heads, bujisness cards, get atleast the experience of production, adn yeah, keep things simple yet eye catching, for example your piece 'ginji' i liek the colour contrast you got there its eye catching...

Well.. training from grade 12 hypermedia, learn the basic.. of photoshop.
Then I just watch speed painting in youtube.
Sketching wise, no training at all. just practice.

Ya i know freelance you have to be freaking amazing..

I just order some business cards.
I am gonna look for a job that is in the print, image production so I thought about that. get some experience and know some clients... I know this will take some time. which does suck but ohh well.

The ginji picture, isn't original. its just sorto vectorize.
Do I show originality, along in the line of simplicity also right?
Cause I don't really like taking things from pictures and vectorizing them or digitally vector... I do those for practice.

look at some of the ones i have 'faved' like '8-bit Old School' or ' A Sword Named Izanami' those are simple and yet gets attention.

personally i like doing vectors but not so much vectorizing pictures, love using illustrator, feel free to check out my gallery, any questions let me know, oh there is a tons of places hiring for graphic designers and artist

The job wise, I know only a few places. But i'll look it up more. some places will only hire you if you have some certificate. or will they look at your portfolio?

some do some dont, some will take on people with no experience also... so its just a matter o looking around, and also might be the whole moving out of edmonton, like to calgary or small towns around edmonton

yes, I do want to be a graphic designer/artist. be a Freelance. I know i have to be really good to be that. That's why i'm still practicing. for now maybe just to get notice...
But anyway. thanks for finding me. Do you have any suggestion or feedback, i wanna get good.
